Stacy, the owner of Pawsitive Focus located near the Jacksonville, NC area, is no stranger to the area. She worked with Give us Paws and provided Service Dog Training services while in Houston. Stacy, an active duty spouse, has recently been welcomed back after relocating from Texas. Stacy’s love for dogs began at three years old. This love would open doors for Stacy to help others experience the significant influence of therapy dogs. With a degree in Finance, she led business trainings and discovered a passion for helping others learn while having fun. Coupled with her love for dogs she completed an intense internship apprenticeship in 2007 to become a Professional In-Home Dog Trainer. Alec, her beagle, at eight years old proved old dogs can learn new tricks. It was then Stacy knew she could help equip families with strategies to better train their own dogs. In 2007, Pawsitive Focus was opened. Pawsitive Focus actively offers specializations in safety obedience and non-aggressive manners training for all age dogs. Through private, in-home, customized programs, 500 families have experienced “Peace of Mind” with their pets. Stacy is excited about helping others start the journey in preparing their future service dog through the PAWS Training Centers.
